All School Service Learning Project

• Thank a Health Care Worker project - 

• Our goal is to have as many North students as possible make a card  or sign to say "Thank you" to a health care worker.

• Signs should be on an 8 ½ x 11" piece of paper (the size of a standard piece of printer paper).

• Signs can be made in any material - pencil, crayon, paint - you name it!  Digital signs are welcome and encouraged!  Try a Google or Word doc, and get creative with fonts and colors. Just print out the sign!

• A bin with a sign has been set up outside of Mrs. Felt's office.  Students can drop off their signs and letters to the bin any time between Wednesday April 29 and Wednesday May 6.

• Mrs. Felt will deliver all of the signs to Mills Peninsula Hospital in Millbrae.

Art Contest Reminder

Hi North STARS!!!!

We want to remind you that the Art Contest due date is coming up on May 4th! 

As a reminder, the theme of our Art Contest is ANIMAL SERVICE AND/OR WELFARE. You are welcome to submit ANYTHING artistic that's related to our beloved animals!!!! You could enter a photograph, painting, drawing, google draw, essay, poem, and/or sculpture to give you a few ideas. 

Please submit your art project on or before May 4th to the following google form: North Art Contest Entry Form Due 5/4/20

Following the due date on May 4th, a small group of teachers will select 3-5 finalists/grade. Principal Felt will create a google form for every student to select his/her favorite entry/grade.

The winners will be announced on May 8th. Winning projects will be on display at the Volunteer Tea on May 20th. We will also display the winning projects in a designated North Kiosk for everyone to enjoy when we return to school!

Winners will have the option to select a $25 gift card to amazon or Michaels. We will also create a collage to thank everyone for participating and taking a risk!

Virtual Book Fair May 16-24!

Are you running out of books to read?  Bored with the ones you have?

We will be having a virtual online Scholastic Book Fair from May 16-24!  Shop for great books for all grade levels.  All sales benefit the North Library.  There is FREE shipping for orders over $25.
