Good Morning North Stars and Welcome Back!

Way to go, North Stars!

Guess how much we have raised for Pets in Meed after the first week of Change for Change? (drum roll……) $1,800.09!! Amazing!

We have one more week to go. So do some extra chores around the house to raise some extra money to bring more change into our classroom for the C4C bin. And, if you haven't had a chance to do a lemonade stand or bake sale yet but want to, you still can host your own this weekend as Change for Change is now thru Monday, March 9th!

The money will be collected in the classrooms through this Friday. If you do a bake sale over the weekend, you can bring that into the office.

Thanks to everyone who has worked hard to help support the animals at Pets in Need!

Ms. Morgan, Miss Orwin and your dedicated Service Learning Ambassadors!

North HTV Broadcast

Good Morning North,

Check out the 2nd HTV broadcast of the school year! The 5th graders did an amazing job!  Watch and find out about Kindness Week, Change for Change, and the Talent Show. Maybe your child was captured in the broadcast.  And, remember that all the edited videos are online and can be easily found on the new North Website under HTV Vimeo Channel.

True fact:  Your students love watching themselves on HTV.

Opportunity for 5th Grade Traffic Troopers!

Good Morning North 5th Graders,

I want you to know that I sent this eblast to your parents earlier this morning. Please let me know if you have any questions about Traffic Trooping!

Good Morning 5th Grade Families,

Would your son or daughter like to be trained to serve as a 5th Grade Traffic Trooper?!

After we completed a successful pilot last spring, we are excited to offer this opportunity to your 5th graders. Your child may sign up for one, two or more days to serve before or after school. We will train your child to serve safely and successfully. Please use the attached form to sign up your son or daughter.

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSd1t4IR4zY6a5NCWms7yWtXDTlpqm-UG582aKia0Lc6zpOg2A/viewform?usp=sf_link

Each trained Traffic Trooper will use a yellow apron and report to a designated parent volunteer before school (starting at 8:10-8:30am) OR a designated staff member after school (3-3:20pm). Each Traffic Trooper will be assigned to a specific location to welcome our students to and from school.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thank you and have a great weekend!
