Service Learning Ambassadors meeting

Hello SLA's - we will meet on Monday, February 10, in the Flex Lab at 12:00. Bring your lunch!

We will need people to do several different jobs for our upcoming Change for Change assembly (coming on February 21) and a couple of weeks after that.  Be thinking about what you are interested in doing!

• Make posters
• Help write/ act in a skit to be performed at the assembly
• Help announce at the assembly
• Go to classrooms to drop off donation containers
• Go to classrooms to pick up donation containers

Upper Classroom Digging in Dirt

Hi North Stars,

I want to support your digging desire as long as safety remains our number one focus.

Moving forward, please remember:

1) Sticks are school property. Once you are using a stick, no one can take it away during a given recess.

2) Do not fill dirt into anyone's hole except your own.

3) Never, ever kick or throw dirt on anyone else. Find an adult for support if there's a problem.

2019-20 Student Council Goals

Hello North Students and staff!

Hello North!

We are glad to announce that the student council has new goals for the year:

1. Plant more trees and make our school a better place

2. To have everyone's voice heard and respected.

3. Everyone to get along and have fewer arguments

These goals will help enrich school spirit and make our world a cleaner place. There are many ways to help accomplish these goals and if you have any idea then please feel free to bring it up to Mrs. Felt, Miss Bluhm or any student council officer. 

As a reminder, all Student Council meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend. We meet every Thursday for lunch in the library.

Valentine Reminder in School!

Hi North Stars,

I bet everyone is getting so excited about Valentine's Day! Please remember that cards (enough for everyone in your class INCLUDING your teacher and support staff too!) are wonderful. Unfortunately, please do not attach food or gum (especially candy) to your Valentine cards. If you have any questions, feel free to see me! Happy Early Valentines Day!

MPR Choice Lunch Reminder and Talent Show "practicing" during the school day

Hello North!

I would give our amazing North Stars a few friendly reminders:

1) If you order Choice Lunch, please remember to pick up ONE snack/lunch ANd to ONLY pick up a snack for you....no one else.

2) If you are planning to perform in the Talent Show, please avoid school day rehearsals or practices. Understandably, some of our non-performers or students not performing in certain groups are feeling left out or excluded.

Please remember Inclusion, Not Exclusion -Invite Everyone to Play is Article 1 in our North School Constitution-created by YOU! 😀
