Soccer Drive has BEGUN! Announcement for November 5th!

Hi North,

We have kicked off our North Service Learning Soccer Gear Drive. We will be donating soccer items to kids in need who live in rural, southern Costa Rica. They often have no soccer shoes or balls. If you have any soccer cleats, uniforms, socks, shin guards, balls, and cones that you can donate, please put items into the black bin near the traffic circle. Reminder to put cleats into a sealed plastic bag or ziploc.

We will have collection containers placed in front of our school before and after school!

Frisbee Fun!

 

Good morning North Frisbee Fans,

 

I am thrilled to see so many North students enjoying frisbee…..

 

On Tuesday, November 6^th, Student Council will be discussing and determining rules to keep students safe and included. Student Council meetings are open and held in room 21. Anyone is welcome to attend.

 

Essentially, we will be discussing the following:

 

1)      Pass 3-5 times to DIFFERENT players BEFORE scoring

2)      No physical contact

3)      Fair Catch signal

 

Again, you are welcome to join us to share your suggestions, thoughts and/or concerns.
