Based on the overwhelmingly positive response to our Room 13 Staff Appreciation project party, we will be meeting again today (Thursday, Dec. 6) in room 13 during lunch. Please bring your lunch with you. You will need to eat your lunch FIRST and then participate in order to keep everything neat and clean.

I have a favor to ask YOU.

 

Classroom Representatives, please work with your teacher to find a few minutes where you can ask the students in your classroom to raise his/her hand if he/she is in a leadership job/role/position at North this year.

 

This would include all Student Council officers, Classroom Reps, Constitutional Delegates, Table Troopers, Preschool Helpers, Lunch Recyclers, Spirit helpers, Buddy Bench Pals and Litter Lovers, etc.

 

When possible, please bring me a note to let me know how many student leaders you have in your classroom.

Teacher Appreciation Project Announcement

           

            Hello North students, this is Malia Chen, Communications Director and Juliet Schmeltzer, Vice President. On Wednesday, December 5 there will be a teacher appreciation project in room 13. It will be held from 12:00 to 12:40, so don’t forget to bring your lunch. We will be making a special project for our wonderful teachers, and it is going to be tons of fun! This project is completely optional, but we would love to see everyone there. Please join us, and help show the teachers how much we appreciate them!

The Soccer Gear Drive Has Begun!

We have kicked off our North Service Learning Soccer Gear Drive. We will be donating soccer items to kids in need who live in rural, southern Costa Rica. They often have no soccer shoes or balls. If you have any soccer cleats, uniforms, socks, shin guards, balls, and cones that you can donate, please put items into the black bin near the traffic circle. Reminder to put cleats into a sealed plastic bag or ziploc. Thank you for making an impact!
