Hi North Students, this is Malia Chen, your student council Communications Director. This is a reminder that the unclaimed items in the lost and found will be donated the recent fire victims. If you remember, all student council members (including representatives) voted on the recipient at the last all council meeting on 12/13/18. The last day to claim any items will be Friday, December 21. After this date, all unclaimed items will be donated to the fire victims. Please DO NOT FORGET to check the lost and found for any of your items. Also, A big thank you to Mrs. Gutierrez’s class for collecting change to also donate to the fire victims! They made about $100 in total! We hope that the fire victims appreciate our donation!
Thank you,

Hi North Stars!
Your Student Council and all of you voted to have a Student Led Art Contest this year! As a result, your Art Directors, Lila Rubin and Emme Linthwaite created a google art entry form for you to submit on or before February 1, 2019. Please let me know if you have questions or concerns….
Happy Holidays and have fun getting CREATIVE!
Hello, this is Malia Chen, Student Council Communications Director.
Student Council Representatives please read this to your class:
There will be a google form sent out for the 5th grade legacy project. If anyone has an idea for what we could do please notify Principal Felt. Hadley Larson has the idea of doing a project using Tinkercad. The 5th graders will vote on an idea, but we could end up doing something completely different. Remember, in the end, the parents that are leading the project will have the final say.
The treasurers have announced that we made a profit of $427 from the bottles and bags fundraiser.
Also, an update on the snowflake appreciation project. All snowflake wreaths will be collected by Friday, 12/21/18. The teachers should receive their snowflakes in their mailboxes at the end of the day. Please don’t forget the purpose of the snowflake project, and write appropriate notes.
Finally, our art contest directors are working on a google form for you to sign up to present an entry by 2/1. Our theme is ENVIRONMENT and art is art…..nothing smaller than 8X10 and nothing larger than 28X36.
The sign up google form should be sent out soon and the student council has voted that any type of art (photographs, paintings, drawings, sculptures, etc.) will be accepted.
Thank you,
Malia Chen
