Dear 3rd-5th Graders,
In case you missed this incredible opportunity, the Rainbow Reader book club is ALMOST FULL…..
Here is a link to sign up……club will close at 20 students (we have 15 now!!!!!)
Our first meeting will be on 1/22 during lunch in room 13….if it rains, our location will adjust and we’ll post a Buzz.

Rainbow Readers OPEN for 3rd-5th Graders!!!!!
Hi, I’m Violet Chaffee and I’m in 5th grade.
I’m starting a book club called Rainbow Readers for 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders.

Lunch Line-Ups
Good Morning, North Students!
As a result of some pushing and pressing on the MPR doors (near the swings) before you enter the MPR for lunch, we are creating TWO new line up rows for you to enter the MPR for lunch!
We will have TWO rows:
The first row will be labeled HOME lunch for those of you who bring lunch from home.
The second row will be labeled CHOICE lunch for those of you who wait in line to pick up your Choice hot or cold lunch.
Once you enter the MPR, please report to your grade level table and be SURE to support your terrific Table Troopers and Mr. Hugo!
Students, you may NOT leave the MPR until you are EXCUSED by an adult staff member. If you have questions about this reminder, please let me know.

Fantastic Football Players
Good morning North Stars,
For your safety, please do NOT play football on the gravel pit by the outdoor auditorium (classroom) by the handball wall. Mr. Hugo has placed orange cones as a visual reminder to stay off this dangerous space. Please enjoy the expanded field Mr. Flores created on the Crocker blacktop during am and lunch recesses.

Hello North, this is Malia Chen, Communications Director and welcome back. I hope everyone had a great weekend! I have a quick update/reminder for you. Safe Football Space- Blacktop Expansion

As some of you know, Coach Flores has created MORE space on the Crocker Blacktop for you to play football SAFELY-Thank you, Coach Flores (photo attached)!!!!
I have asked Mr. Hugo to place orange cones on the sandy space where some of you played football previously. This area is too dangerous and please use the Blacktop until our field reopens and/or the weather improves for us to use Crocker's grass field.
Have a great day and please include everyone....the good players become truly great when they encourage, coach and mentor those who are eager to play and excited to learn.
