2018-2019 Yearbook Cover Contest Winner

The students have spoken....The 2018/2019 Yearbook Cover Contest winners are Ian & Kolin K. Congratulations also to our runners up: Kailey L., Noelle L., Lila R., and Zara W. whose entries will be featured on the back cover of the North Yearbook! Special recognition to all of our artists who submitted a total of 28 entries. It was a wonderful chance for our creative and artistic North Stars to shine! Thank you to the North teachers who helped to find our top entries. The new selection process this year integrated both teachers' and students' opinions. Summary of process below: Round 1: Yearbook Co-Chairs reviewed art to confirm it adhered to the theme and guidelines as "cover ready" Round 2: Three North Teachers (Carol Gutierrez, Michelle Alich and Joanne Sarris) narrowed the entries to (9). Final Round: Students in grades K-5 voted online for their top two covers from the (9) entries. REMINDER: The deadline to complete your customized personal pages is Monday, 4/29. You can create two custom pages at no additional charge to commemorate events and memories of your child's school year that will appear only in your child's personal copy of the yearbook. Your child's yearbook and the custom pages have been paid for through your NPG dues and there is no added cost to create your personal pages.
