Good morning North Stars....

Please read to your classes:

Constellations have liftoff! Our Constellation leaders will have presented to all classrooms by the end of today, March 29th. We will launch our Constellation Pilot after spring break and Juliet S will present data to our staff on 5/2.

Kudos to Ryan J and Henry F for creating a Weekly Tattler Newspaper!

Student Council approved the Weekly Tattler yet will continue the process of providing feedback and suggestions before final approval. We will review a final draft at our 4/11 Student Council meeting with hopes to release on 4/12.

5th grade teachers and students will meet on 4/8 from 10-11 in the Library to launch our North Green Team Initiative. During this time, we will meet in assigned groups to discuss solutions to environmental challenges we see at North!

Our Student Art Contest led by Lily R and Emme L as well as our yearbook cover entries are due 4/8. Teacher leaders will select finalists and students will ultimately vote on grade level winners. Our winning art will be displayed at the Parent Volunteer Tea on 4/18 in MPR.

Congratulations to Henry F, Jaisimh, Violet and Caroline F-The Game Room is unbelievably successful! It is SO popular, we may need to find a second day in the week! In the meantime, we need a few chess games....

Moving forward, we plan to create a google sign up form since this program is so popular! 43 3rd-5th graders attended last week!!!!! Our 3rd GAME ROOM is today at both lunch recesses in room 13!

If you are a current 3rd or 4th grade student and interested in running for student council office for fall 2019-20, please submit a paragraph entry on or before 4/11 at 4pm 2019-20 3rd and 4th Grade Spring Election Application

Led by Hadley L, Malia C and Riley M, our Computer Lab Student Committee will meet on 4/8 during AM recess in the Computer Lab to review student survey results-anyone is welcome!!!!! Very exciting!
