Update from the Treasurers'
The current balance is $2,405.51
3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Rainbow Readers Book Club - Violet
At the first meeting only 2 students came
When we opened the club to 3rd and 4th graders, 24 students came
They have not chosen a book yet
You may come to a meeting without signing up
Art Contest Update
The entry form is on the homepage of the student council website
Entry forms are due 2/1, and projects are due 3/8
We will be having one school wide winner, and many grade winners
Constellations
The committee was supposed to meet on Wednesday but we had popcorn packing
We have rescheduled the meeting to Wednesday, 1/30
These students are on the Constellation committee so far - if you want

Update on selecting/electing 19-20 officers before June
We are talking about April elections for current 3rd and 4th graders
We could facilitate a smaller election for current 2nd graders in fall 2019
This way, our 19-20 officers can shadow and learn from our amazing
18-19 student council
Spirit Days
2/6/19 Blue and Gold Day (poster making 1/28 Room 13)
Ethan Simon and Myra Wasim suggested Shark Day for 2/14/19
Caesar/Ranch Salad Dressing Day will be March 1-dress in Togas or
denim/overalls/ranch attire
Student Leadership Kiosk
Kiosk Team: Ariana, Emma, Hadley, Isabelle, Ethan S, Morgan,
Catherine, Abby, Caroline, Ethan S, and Scarlett
We will be meeting on Tuesday, January 1/29, on the picnic tables in
front of library or Ms. Felt's office - we have not decided on a
